Sometimes I Let The Air Out

A small flea sits wedged in the interior of my neighbor’s brain.  The flea is playing the banjo and eating a banana.  I watch him from the cushion in my kitchen window, keep notes on how he moves, what chords he chooses, the type of people whose company he’s kept.
