I spent today in my birdcage, my little slice of New York, knee-deep in laundry, stale peanut mix and 8 oz. cans of Orangina. The refuse of last week’s Gigantic launch party has hijacked my sleep schedule, not to mention much of the floor space. My fridge is entirely filled with left over bottles of water and wine. Not far from a New York dream. As I sit here shifting through grant applications, dishes and pairs of mismatched socks, I find myself humming along to classic rock. Maybe Billy Joel’s right. Maybe I should “Leave A Tender Moment Alone.” But, good scab-picker that I am, I just can’t. Here’s some pictures from last Saturday’s Gigantic Launch Party at Starr Space. In every heart there is a room. A Tender Button, to be sure.
